Mr James T Murray, 84, of Booneville died Friday, Sept 2, 2011, in Fort Smith. He was born on March 15, 1927, in Carolan. He was the widower of Dorothy Murray. He was retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Booneville.

Pallbearers were: Don, Caleb & Kyle Murray,Joshua Johnson, Lance Tharel & Bob Harris.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Johnson of Woodbridge, Va ; one son, Don Murray of Booneville; four grandchildren & one great-grandson.

Dorothy Fern Murray, age 78, from Booneville, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord & Savior on July 11, 2011. She was born on June 28, 1933, the daughter of Eston Eric Frost & May Fern (Potts) Frost in Magazine, Arkansas.
She married James T Murray on February 3, 1952. She was a retired Teachers Aid from the Magazine School District. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Booneville, Arkansas, a member of the Church choir, as well as, a long-time Children's Sunday School Director.
She is predeceased by her parents, Eston Eric Frost & May Fern (Potts) Frost; an infant brother, Charles Eston Frost, & brother, James Frost.
Survivors include her husband, J T Murray; a daughter, Sandra Johnson, & husband, Ron, from Woodbridge, Virginia; a son, Don Murray, & wife, Mary, from Booneville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Heather Hennessey, & husband, Ethan, Joshua Johnson, Caleb Murray, Kyle Murray, & wife, Sarah; one great-grandson, Seth William Hennessey; two sisters, Edith Barber, & husband, John, from Gateway, Arkansas, Hannah Lockhart, & husband, Darrel, from Springdale, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Carol Frost, from Gateway, Arkansas; & a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
