MELBOURNE — Tamsey Loretta Holder Hines, 74, of Melbourne died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home.
Born Feb. 20, 1937, in Wauchula, Fla., she was the daughter of Jake and Olyer Lee "Billie" Roberson Holder. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Hines on April 17, 1984, in Florida. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years; 11 children, James Martin of Melbourne, Ruby Pearson of Joppa, Ala., Gail Watts of Russell Springs, Ky., Nick Hines of Evansville, Ind., John Hines of Dell, James Hines of Irving, Texas, Janet Pierson of Brookland, Jessica Bohmfalk of Oxford, David Hines of Blytheville, Sarah Wilson of Gosnell and Mary Sandmel of Clarksville, Tenn.; a brother, George Holder of Ormand Beach, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Phillip Holder.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with James Hines officiating. Burial was in Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Lawrence Bohmfalk, James Todd, Rick Dowdle, James Campbell, Dean Rapp and Shawn Woodson.
Honorary pallbearers were Todd Pierson, Bruce Johnson, Wayne Coleman, Clayton Vernon and Ricky King.
