Betty Mae Mills, 65, of Crossett, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, LA. Born August 7, 1941, to Joe and Mary Dean Peoples Robinson in Portland, Mrs. Mills was a homemaker and kept the nursery for the First Church of God for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Ernest Mills of Crossett; two sons, Mike Mills and wife Melinda of Hamburg and Terry Mills and wife Lynne; her mother, Mary Breedlove; one brother, Sonny Robinson; three sisters, Georgia Cooper and Mary Wilson, all of Crossett, and Jane Ward of Bastrop, LA; and three grandchildren, Caleb, Kirstie and Brianna. She was preceded in death by her father and three sisters, Eva, Marilyn and Judy.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 9, in the First Church of God with Bro. Roy Pepmiller officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Pallbearers were Corky Cooper, Greg Cooper, Joe Wilson, Jim Ross, Terry Upshaw and Albert Ray Mills.
