Jewell Rutherford
ROGERS — Jewel Rutherford, 89, of Rogers died Jan. 17, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born June 20, 1906, in Benton County to Robert Lee and Elizabeth Taylor McIntyre. She was a homemaker and a member of the Logan Methodist Church. She was a former resident of Gravette and the Logan community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Rutherford, in 1987; two sons.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Rutherford of Gravette and Tommy Rutherford of Bentonville; one daughter, Iva Mae Hutchinson of Prairie Grove; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren: nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Highfill with the Rev. Bruce Holland officiating. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
