Opal J. Stephens
FAYETTEVILLE — Opal Jamison Stephens, 90, of Fayetteville died Oct. 28, 2005, in Springdale. She was born Oct 11, 1915, in Bentonville to Homer and Lela Bates Jamison. She was a retired bookkeeper for Sweetser Construction and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Adams of Hockessin, Del.; two granddaughters, Amanda Adams of Knoxville, Tenn., Natalie Adams of Tampa, Fla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Benson-Nicol officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Chtuch, 695 E. Calvin St., Fayetteville.
