Doris Aline Maddern, age 95, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away Friday morning, May 14, 2010, at the Ozark Health Nursing Center in Clinton. She was a member of the Higden Church of Christ. Doris, the daughter of Dave and Mamie Warren Kleweno, was born in Bison, Kansas, on February 26, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Maddern and a grandson, Steve Small. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Small of Fairfield Bay; granddaughter, Dana Nunn of Grand Junction, Colorado; three great grandsons, Matthew Nunn, Anthony Small, and Danny Small; and two great, great grandchildren, Hailey and Henry Nunn. She is also survived by her sister, LaVerne Sisk of Wichita, Kansas. Mrs. Maddern is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 16, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at the Olmstead Woodland Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, at 2:30 p.m. at the Higden Church of Christ with Carroll Sites and Matthew Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park
