Obituary L D
L. D. Hester, 70, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas died saturday at a Tulsa hospital. He was a retired plumber.
Funeral was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the New Sulpher Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was at Hall Cemetery at Natural Dam under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter; six sons; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Obituary Arvie
Mrs. Arvie Irene Hester, 58 years old, of 1207 Fayetteville Road, Van Buren, Arkansas died Sunday in a local hospital. Born July 13, 1910 in Crawford County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of J. T. and Georgia Pope Barnes and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors were her husband, L. D. Hester (now deceased January 8, 1983); six sons; a daughter, Wanda; three brothers, John, Dave and Otis; five sisters, Lizzie, Julie, Ruby, Ellen and Myrtle; and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at the Natural Dam Assembly of God church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with R. E. Pixley, Ben Pixley and Gilbert Pixley, the officiating ministers. Burial was directed by Ocker Funeral Home. Burial was in Hall Cemetery.
