Maude Mae Haley
Maude Mae Barksdale Haley, age 76, of Guion, died Saturday morning, June 30, 1973, in a Batesville hospital. She was a resident of Izard County all her life; a member of Guion Baptist Church, and a Bible Teacher for many years.
Survivors include her husband, William M. Haley, of the home; a grandson (should this be son?), Billy H. Haley of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Nick Barksdale, of Pittsburgh, Kansas and R. C. (Bob) Barksdale of Batesville, Ark.; two sisters, Bessie Owens of Batesville, Ark. and Oma Tate of Arizona.
Funeral service was Mon., July 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Guion Baptist Church with Bro. George Roberts officiating. Burial was in Reeves Cemetery with arrangements by Batesville Davies Funeral Home.
Pall bearers were: James Killion, Jerry Killion, Don Stroud, Othel Barksdale, Thomas Fitzsimmons, and Doyne Langston.
