Martha Elizabeth EVANS Lyman, born 1839 in Ohio and died December 1869 in Madison County, Arkansas, near Red Star. She married Jonathan Lyman on 19 August 1857 in Danville, Vermellion County, Illinois. Martha was the mother of 4 children: Louise J., born 1858 died between 1860-1870; Albert H., born 1861; Joseph Willis, born 1865; and Martha Ellen born 1867.
