letta Vaughan, age 92, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011, at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. Born in Quitman on August 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Bertha (Johnson) Perry.

A longtime resident of Cleburne County, Mrs. Vaughan was a homemaker. She was a loving wife; mother; grandmother; great grandmother; great, great grandmother; sister; and friend. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of the Center Point General Baptist Church.

Her husband Coy Vaughan preceded her in death on April 11, 2003. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Wall, and by her parents.

Mrs. Vaughan is survived by two sons, Robert Vaughan and his wife, Gail, of Beebe and Richard Vaughan of Quitman; one daughter, Aliene Eddleman of Quitman; three sisters, Claudine Rodriquez and Maxine Burford, both of California, and Emma Duncan of Little Rock; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. Mrs. Vaughan is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, at Olmstead Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, at the Center Point General Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery. Steve Campbell, Tony Wall, Bryan Campbell, Bill Pike, Bruce Ivy, and Sammy Duncan will serve as pallbearers.
