Mittie Lee Dawkins, age 82, of 197 Highway 4 West, Warren, died Thursday, September 2 at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 31, 1910 in Bradley County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Parker and Laler Jane Wherry Parker. She was a Baptist and a retired sales clerk for Morgan and Lindsey. Surviving is her husband, Morris Dawkins whom she married February 20, 1920; one daughter, Sybil Morgan, Warren; one brother, Arthur Parker, Arkadelphia; one sister, Coela Cronin, Austin, TX; two grandchildren, Dr. Alisa Hopper, Monticello and David Morgan, Warren; one great grandson, Jordan Lee Hopper, Monticello. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4 at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Greg Stanley. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Mary Robbins sang. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Sam Fallia, Derrell Leonard, Ray Ederington, Cecil Carmical, Billy R. Williams and Lovette Reaves.
