Clarance Odell Godfrey, 79, of Warren, died February 19, 1998, at Pine Lodge Nursing Home. Born July 29, 1918, at Bradley County, he was a son of the late Jasper J. and Fannie Hamilton Godfrey. He was a retired Potlatch Corporation employee, a Baptist, and served in the Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Crowder Godfrey, who died September 25, 1994.
Survivors include a brother, Mansfield Godfrey of Johnsville; and a sister, Abbie Baker of Hermitage.
