From The Van Buren County DEMOCRAT, Clinton, AR, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 Connie Marie Quattlebaum Sample, of Conway, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1923 in Clinton to the late Enos (September 10, 1879-October 8, 1953) and Susie (Rhoades) Quattlebaum (May 10,1886-July 18, 1935). Mrs. Sample was a homemaker, charter member of the Choctaw & Conway Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), a long-time member & Sunday school teacher at Pickles Gap Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Conley, four sisters & four brothers. She is survived by her son, Rick Sample & wife Sylvia of Clinton, daughters, Debbie Earl & husband Tony of Conway, four grandchildren & four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers included Alan Mahan, Russell Earl, Billy Hightower, Jeremy Earl, Josh Earl, & Sam Ward.
