Young's Funeral Home Records
Opal Burks, 95 of El Dorado, passed away December 1, 2010, at her residence. She was born March 2, 1915 the daughter of William Andrew and Hazel Fawn Harrell Taylor. Opal loved to sew and needlepoint and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husbands, Walter Troy Adams, Denzel Trussell, and James Burks; and brother, Marvin A. Taylor.
Survivors include her brother, Floyd Taylor, Sr. (Carleen) of El Dorado; three nephews, Floyd Taylor, Jr., Wilson A. Taylor, and John M. Taylor, and niece, Nancy Ann Ritchey.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, at Youngs.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, at Young's Chapelwith Rev. Bruce Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
Memorials may be made to John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
