L.W. Forrest, 62, of Warren, died March 4, 2000, at his home.
He was born August 18, 1937, in Bradley County, a son of Adra Cox Forrest of Monticello and the late Penix Forrest.
He was a retired truck driver for Great Lake Chemical Company.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church at Warren.
He was a member of the Warren Masonic Lodge 33.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Nell Perry.
Other survivors include his wife, Joann Reep Forrest, whom he married April 14, 1956; a son, Michael Wayne Forrest of Camden; three daughters, Sharon Hughes of Whelen Springs (Clark County), and Lisa Walker and Cynthia Ann Green, both of Choudrant, Louisiana; four brothers, Bruce Forrest and Donald Dewayne Forrest, both of Monticello, Daniel Forrest of Fordyce and Johnny Ray Forrest of Dallas; four sisters, Carolyn Frances Masters, Ida Mae Guthrie and Deborah Diane Camden, all of Monticello, and Rebecca Hines of Malvern; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Oakland Cemetery at Warren with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial will be handled by Frazer's Funeral Home.
