Grady "Buddy" Weeks Jr., 76, of Warren, died Sunday at Wagnon Place Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1930, at Kingsland, a son of the late Grady Luther Weeks Sr., and Margaret Brandon Weeks.
He was a retired sawyer for Potlatch Timber Corp.He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Sue Mitchell Weeks, who died July 19, 1984, an infant son, Gregory Weeks, and an infant daughter, Angela Weeks.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Gannaway Weeks, whom he married June 6, 1991; a daughter, Pam Stillwell of Stuttgart; a step-son, Bubba Gannaway of Warren; a step-daughter, Deborah Black of Warren; four brothers, Marvin Weeks of Fordyce, Billy Weeks of Kingsland, Roy Weeks of White River, Ariz., and James Weeks of New Edinburg; four sisters, Dorothy Calhoun of Warren, Margie Free of Warren, Betty Jean Newton of Cornersville and Patsy Lisemby of Kingsland; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Frazer's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
