Margaret E. Stamps
SPRINGDALE — Margaret E. Stamps, 96, of Springdale died Oct. 24, 2006. at Springdale. She was born April 2, 1910, in Chambers, Neb., to Goven Orlando and Minnie Major Disney. She was a former member of Wesley Methodist Church in Springdale and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Truman Stamps, in 1979 and three daughters, Margaret Marie Stamps, Betty L Swegle and Trumanda Jo Lindley Mayes.
Survivors include her children, Donald D. Stamps and wife Mary of West Fork, Darlene Walden and husband, Aaron of Springdale and Truman Stamps and wife Dolores of Springdale; one sister, Zetta Brown of Springdale; l0 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or the Springdale Public Library.
