Martha Elmyra was born to Att. Thomas and Clarissa Philips Wilson. She married Col William Wirt Watkins, who was instrumental in bringing back the children who survived the Mountain Meadows Massacre. He was born 1 Apr 1826 in TN and died 15 Jan 1898 in Harrison, AR.
