Leroy LeNarz, Jr. age 86, of White Hall, AR. died Saturday, July 9th at his home. He was born July 6th, 1925 in Warren, AR. a son of the late Leroy A. LeNarz, Sr. and Martha Donovan LeNarz. Leroy was a resident of White Hall, AR. for 50 years, he was a devoted care giver to his wife, Lorna Bradford LeNarz, White Hall, AR. whom he married February 27th, 1946 in Port Angeles, WA. Leroy was saved in the First Assembly of God Church, Warren, AR. and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a retired United States Army Veteran, (Master Sergeant) with his career spanning 40 years of service, serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He also served and retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal in 1978 with 27 years of service as a construction maintenance foreman, at that time he returned to active duty in the United States Army. He was a charter member of the American Legion Post # 232, a charter member of the Sojourners, A member of the International Free and Accepted Masons, Jacob Brump Lodge, a member of the Scottish Rite and Sahara Shrine. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Bradley Jaret LeNarz.
Surviving other than his wife, 2 daughters, Judith Kimbrell and spouse Dewayne, White Hall, AR., Linda Riggins, and spouse Ricky, Rison, AR. 2 sons, Dr. Leroy A. LeNarz, III. and spouse Donna, Carmel, IN., Sam LeNarz and spouse Andra, Petal, MS. 8 grandchildren, Amy McCoskey, Pine Bluff, AR., Heath Wingard and spouse Heather, Mayflower, AR., Zachary LeNarz, Philadelphia, PA., Andrew LeNarz, Petal, MS., Erin LeNarz, Indianapolis, IN., Tyler Pearson, Carmal, IN., Matt Pearson, Carmal, IN. and Madi Pearson, Carmal, IN. 1 great-grandchild Emma McCoskey, Woodlawn, AR.
Funeral services were 10:00AM Tuesday, July 12th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Jim Bales and Rev. Gary Bell officiating. Musicians were Linda Barrett, Carolyn Stover and Sharon Crossett. Burial with military honors was in Oakland Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Heath Wingard, Zachary LeNarz, Andrew LeNarz, James Mew, James Wright and Jake Wright. Honorary pallbearers were J.B. Burton, Ricky Riggins, Dewayne Kimbrell, Tom Ed Wright, Tommy Melton and Bradley Jaret LeNarz.
