September 21, 1880 - December 27, 1972
Ulela Rainey McDowell, 92, a Camden native and lifelong resident of the city, died Wednesday night at Leisure Lodge. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Leonard F. Crocker of Heber Springs and Mrs. Elmo Boutwell of Little Rock. Funeral services were to have been this morning at 10:30 in Proctor's Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - December 29, 1972)
