STANTON, Enos Halberta - Enos Halberta Stanton, the ten-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Enos Stanton, died Thursday night at their home just west of the cemetery, the result of the whooping cough and the flu. Brief funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the undertaking parlors of J.W. Bryant owing to the fact that the entire family has been ill for the past ten days or more. Mrs. Stanton arose from her bed to attend the funeral against the advice of the physicians. It was a week of affliction for the Stanton home for the aunt, Miss Ida Stanton, had died there only the day previous and the father was so low that his life was despaired of for several days. The two brothers of the little girl were also quite ill. We are glad to be able to report that all are now improving. Mr. Stanton and family have the sympathy of the entire community. Mr. Stanton is mail carrier on Route 2 out of Rogers.
