STARRETT, Malinda RULE, Hickey - Miss Malinda Rule was born Feb. 16, 1840 in Morgan county, Ind. She was married to R.G. Hickey Oct. 20, 1860. To this union was born five children, one, Permelia, died at two years and six months of age. George E. Hickey and Mrs. L.E. Starrett were with her at her death. R.G. Hickey died Nov. 7, 1890. Mrs. Hickey was married to John J. Starrett May 5, 1896. Mr. Starrett died Aug. 6, 1902. Mr. and Mrs. Starrett moved to Rogers from Mariana, Ark. Oct. 1898. Death took her Aug. 18, 1918. Sister Starrett has been a sufferer for years. She was a devout Christian woman and loved her Lord truly. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. G.G. Yeoman of the First M.E. church. A son, W.W. Hickey, lives in Milwaukee, Wis. and a daughter lives in Aerial, Alta., Canada. Thus another saint has passed to her reward and her works do follow her.
