November 14, 1849 - January 18, 1936

Victoria Irvin, aged 86, known to her many friends as "Grandma" Irvin, died at the home of her son here Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon with Sister Mary Eagle of Camden in charge. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery with Proctor Funeral Home assisting. Mrs. Irvin was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on November 14, 1849. Her husband fought in the Civil War. He died in 1884. She moved to Camden from Missouri in 1905 and had resided here since. She is survived by a son, Walter Irvin, two grandsons, Bert and Iva Clack, all of Camden. (Camden Times - January 23, 1936)
