Annie Dwade Crawford, age 86, of Damascus, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at Salem Place Nursing Center in Conway, Arkansas. Born in Morganton, Arkansas, on October 14, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hattie (Gilmore) Graddy.
A resident of Arkansas most of her life, Mrs. Crawford was a homemaker, and she enjoyed flowers. Her religious belief was Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Toy Frank Crawford on September 19, 1975. Mrs. Crawford was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Wendell Crawford; and one daughter, Pansy Jones.
She is survived by one son, Billy Crawford; six daughters, Patsy Payne, Peggy Dillon, Patty Dillon, Faye Kelly, Angela Clemens, and Deanie Yarbrough; one sister, Reba Guffey (Link); 30 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
