Samuel Dickson Ruminer
Samuel Dickson Ruminer aged 75, of Mt. Pleasant died at his home Sunday. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Bray of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Euna McSpadden of Newport; four sons, Herschel, Herman and Edgar Ruminer all of Mt. Pleasant and Lloyd Ruminer of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two step-sons, Alvin Ingram of Haxen and Harold Ingram of Forrestville, Conn.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Lewis of Hermleigh, Tex.; three brothers, Sherfield Ruminer of Guion, Hodge Ruminer of Hermleigh, Tex., and Robert Ruminer of Mendola, Calif., 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Lewis Cemetery by Rev. T. S. Hickman at 2:30 Friday afternoon.

Well Known Citizen of Mt. Pleasant Dies
Samuel D. “Dick” Ruminer, well know citizen of this county died at his home at Mt Pleasant Sunday. He served as deputy sheriff of the county for a number of years.
