THOMAS A. MILLER, 69, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011. He was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Fort Scott, Kan., to the late Joseph Donald and Shirley Casebier Miller. Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during Vietnam. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1963 with a degree in journalism, where he was also a member of Phi Delta Theta. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 41 years, Joanne Lauterbach Miller; three son's Derek Miller (Kathryn) of Bentonville, Ark., Jason Miller of Little Rock, and Aaron Miller (Elizabeth) of Long Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren, Ashlyn, and Aubrey; one brother, James M. Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at 10 a.m., Monday Sept. 12, 2011, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock 501-835-3515.
