BURGIN VALLEY
J.R. Brandon passed away Thursday evening after a short illness. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.F. Rice and Rev. Gene Jones. Burial was in the Coffelt cemetery.

John Robert Brandon was born in Tennessee on Aug. 25th, 1868, and departed this life on Jan. 16th, 1936, at the age of 67 years, four months and 21 days.
He was united in marriage with Miss Leveita Garrett on Feb. 15th, 1897. To this union was born nine children, six boys and three girls. Three boys died in infancy and one daughter, Annie Brandon Brown, who preceded him in death.
He was converted in early life.
He leaves his wife, three sons, Roy, Clint and Dennis and two daughters, Mrs. Edith Webb and Mrs. Edna Dawson, and four brothers, Jerry, Jesse, Henry ad Will Brandon, and tow sisters, Mrs. J.A. McKenzie and Mrs. Frank McKenzie. All were present except one daughter, Mrs. Edna Dawson of Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. Frank McKenzie of Mount Vernon, Wash.
Funeral services were conducted by Brother E.F. Rice of Springdale and Brother Gene Jones of Bethlehem. The services were held at the church and burial was at the Coffelt cemetery with Wasson of Siloam Springs in charge. – Contributed.
