E. Fessard, aged 66, veteran Cotton Belt employee, died in a Cotton Belt Hospital in Texarkana Tuesday night. He had been in Camden for the past 13 years and was a clerk in the railroad freight office here. He is survived by his wife of Camden; a daughter, Mrs. E. H. Ahrens of Crystal City, Texas; three sons, Garland and Eugene, both of San Francisco, Cal., and Gerald of Forrest City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Proctor Chapel Wednesday by the Rev. T. L. Harris. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - January 21, 1947)
