Wilma Lois McDowell, 85, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Siloam Springs to Ernest Ray Couch and Ida May Warren Couch. She lived in Tulsa, Okla., for 27 years and worked as a meat wrapper. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Siloam Springs.
Survivors include a brother, William "Bill" Couch of Siloam Springs; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen Campbell of Benson, Ariz., Oneita McKnight of Warren, Ohio, Catherine Bergthold and LeRoy Bergthold of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Betty Hendrix of Siloam Springs; a sister-in-law, Inez Couch of Gentry, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at the Wasson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Murray officiating. Burial will be at the Gentry Cemetery in Gentry, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
