MRS. NONA LADD
Mrs. Nona Ladd, 84, Weslaco, Tex., former resident of Gentry from 1938-1961, died Feb. 8 in Weslaco. She was the widow of W.O. Ladd, who died in 1961, and was a member of Gentry First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Walter Wright, Weslaco, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Billick and Mrs. Katherine Bowen, Norwalk, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today in Weslaco and the body will be returned to Gentry. Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Gentry Cemetery with the Rev. A.D. Corder officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
