November 25, 1884 - March 1, 1964
Gus Cash, aged 78 of 334 Cash Road died at his home Sunday morning. Mr. Cash was a native of Dallas County, but came to Camden when a small boy. He was a retired farmer and dairyman. He was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marcus Cathey of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Billy Gammill of Moss Point, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. D. D. Snyder of Camden; and by three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Proctor Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Herman Voegele. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Casket bearers are, Robert Snyder, Perry Snyder, Harry Snyder, Fred Snyder, Bill Furr, Will Harris, Same Coleman, and W. W. Scott. (Camden News - March 2, 1964)
