Richard Wayne Cash, 78 died Friday, July 03, 2015 peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Camden, Arkansas. After graduating from DeWitt High School, he served his country in the U. S. Airforce. He was a graduate of SAU and returned to Camden where he worked for many years. He finished his career at the Arkansas State Plant Board as the Assistant Director Inforcement Pesticide Division. He was blessed beyond measure with many family and friends, which he gave many a nickname.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Una Cash and Dale and Opal Bearden Childers. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lu Cash; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Cash Brown and husband, Keith; Amy Beatty and husband, Darien; grandchildren, Joseph Beatty, III; Kayla Lynn Brown, Warren Cooper Brown; and siblings, Jeanie King, Judy Powers and Dale Childers, Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Cash will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 05, 2015 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Carl Tillery will officiate the services. Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to service.
