July 2, 1924 - June 6, 1972
Mrs. Charlotte Beard Short, 47, wife of Joe Short of Los Angeles, California, died early Tuesday morning in a hospital at Santa Monica. Mrs. Short was a former resident of Camden. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son David Short of Los Angles; her mother, Mrs. Allie Beard of Camden, one sister, Mrs. Laurence Neff of Houston, Texas. The body will be returned to Camden for burial by Proctors. (Camden News - June 6, 1972)
