Maria Sutcliffe was educated in Dublin School Of Fine Arts. She specialized in music, French, and painting. She taught a female college in Batesville, Arkansas.
She immigrated to the United States in 1870 with her brothers William, James, and Edward, primarily living in Des Arc community.
