Wilbur Jacob Hileman, 75, died July 24 in a Bentonville hospital. Born Jan. 1, 1901, the son of William and Virginia Walker Hileman, one of the first families to move to Pea Ridge from Tennessee, he was a farmer, poultry raiser and member of the First United Methodist Church of Pea Ridge.

Hileman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stella Irene Beaver Hileman of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Burnett, Springdale; a son, Lt. Wilbur J. Hileman of the Arkansas State Police in Little Rock: a sister, Mrs. Eula Givens, Springdale; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 3 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church of Pea Ridge with the Rev. George Hunt officiating. Burial was in the Pea Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.

PEA RIDGE — Stella Irene Hileman, 94, of Pea Ridge died Dec 24, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

She was born June 20, 1905, at Pea Ridge to Marion Guthrie and Mary Elizabeth Green Bever. She spent her entire life in the Pea Ridge area.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Jacob Hileman, one son and two brothers.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Louise Claypool and Thurman of Springdale; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are to be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. Burial is to be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. No visitation is planned.
