JOHN E. MOODY

John E. Moody, 82, 817 N. Pleasant St., died June 13 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 22, 1894 at Mansfield, Mo., he was the son of Willis and Annis Davis Moody, a retired farmer and member of the Revival Tabernacle in Springdale.

Survivors include his wife, Janeace Smith Moody of the home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Joanne) Artripe and Mrs. Larry (Janeace) Henry, Springdale; three brothers, Virgil Moody, Ventura, Calif., Albert Moody, Springfield, Mo., and Ezra Moody, Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtha Hayle, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs Maggie Shinpaugh, Springdale; five grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Sisco Chapel with burial in Bluff Cemetery.

Springdale -- Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Moody, 69, of Route 5, Springdale, died May 3 in a Fayetteville hospital. She was born Aug. 25, 1896 in Grenola, Kan.

Survivors are her husband, John E. Moody of the home; one son, Howard Wall of Montezema, Kan; one brother, Wesley Brown of Wichita, Kan; one sister, Mrs. Dora Orr of Missouri; one half-sister, Mrs. Ada Sheets of Wichita and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel with burial in Bluff Cemetery.
