James F. Graham aged 88 of Oxford died on April 4, 1981. He was the son of J. A. Graham and Mary Jane Lawson Graham, having been born on Jan. 19, 1893 at Wideman, Ark. He was united in marriage to Eva Amanda Mullin in Omaha, Nebraska on Dec. 4, 1918. Mr Graham was a lover of gospel music and had been president of the 5th Sunday Singing Convention for the past 20 years.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Otis Graham of Ralston, Nebr.; James Graham of Okla. City; and Vernon Graham of Heber Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Baird of Westerville, Ohio; a nephew, Lowell Mullin, who has lived with the family for 32 years; and one sister Mrs. Etta Sipe of Calico Rock; also 10 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Preceded him in death were his parents, one child, two brothers and two half-brothers.

Funeral service was at Oxford Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on April 6th with Rev. Duane Flood officiating. Burial was in Shaver Campground Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Hayden Sexton, Dempsey Rains, Jewell Webb, Kirby Ward, Arthur Harris and Earl Ogle.

Honorary pallbearers were Pete Martin, Sterling Sexton, Branson Tatum, Ernest Helm, Tollie Rains, J. H. Ward, Leonard Wyatt, LaVoe Moser and Orbra Ward.
