MRS. FLORENCE LEGG
Mrs. Florence A. Legg, 80, Rt. 2, Bentonville, died Oct. 20 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born May 8, 1896, at Ava, Mo., she was the daughter of Joseph and Ella Hart McLain, a charter member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Bentonville.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Legg of the home; four sons, Vernon V. Legg, Natchez State Park, Tenn., Dr. Joseph 0. Legg, Beltsville, Md., Murf M. Legg and Lewis O. Legg, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Jimmie) Dean, Springdale, and Mrs. Vernon (Thelma) Conrad, Tulsa, Okla.; two half brothers, Cecil McLain, Kileen, Tex., and Sigel McLain, Port Arthur, Tex; one half sister, Mrs. Ona Smith, Port Arthur, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Lakeview Baptist Church, Cave Springs. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
