Thomas A. Noland, 68, of Bella Vista, died March 3 at Bates Memorial Hospital. He was born January 1, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He spent most of his life in Berwyn, Ill., where he was an insurance broker. He retired in 1976 and came to Bella Vista to make his home. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Bella Vista Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen, of the home; one son, Thomas A. Noland, Jr., of Riverside, Calif.; one daughter, Cynthia Pakenes of St. Charles, Ill.; one sister, Frances Hapke of Columbus, Ohio.
A Memorial Service was held March 6 at the BV Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Blan Stout officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Callison-McKinney of Bentonville.
Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Assembly of God church.

Kathleen A. Noland, 76, of Bella Vista, died Saturday, May 22, at Concordia Care Center.
She was born June 15, 1916, at Slocomb, Ala., to Lovick P. Anthony and Kathleen J. Anthony. She moved to Bella Vista in 1976 from Glen Ellyn, Ill. She was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are a son, Thomas A. Noland Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Cynthia Noland Pakenas of St. Charles, Ill.; a brother, Lovick Anthony of Butler, Ga.; and two sisters, Crawford Hinson of Atlanta, Ga., and Susan Wilson of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bella Vista Baptist Church with the Rev. George O'Neel officiating. Burial is to be in Bentonville Cemetery. Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. tonight. Memorials may be made to Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, 72714.
