Viola Evelyn (Eva) Wilson, Collins, McKinney of Berryville, AR died October 9, 2011.
Born September 20, 1918 at Rudd, AR, daughter of James Daniel (Jim) Wilson and Jennie Belle Sisco Wilson. Mrs. McKinney has been a Methodist since her teen years. She was united in marriage to William Arthur Collins at Reno, NV. Of this union two sons were born, Richard Wayne Collins and Jimmy Ray Collins. Mrs. McKinney was later united in marriage to Joe N. McKinney.
She worked one year at Missouri Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, 10 years at a post office in California, 20 years as a clerk for Safeway Stores. in Tulsa, OK, and 16 years for the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration (MH Div.) in Little Rock. She moved to Berryville in 1989 until her death.
She's survived by one son, Richard and Debbie Collins of Virginia Beach, VA; one step-daughter, Hazel and John McKoin of Little Rock, AR; one sister-in-law, Jessie Wilson of Berryville, AR; two granddaughters, Kelli Strack of Virginia Beach, VA and Rachel Ellis of Little Rock, AR; two great-grandchildren, Blake Collins and Evie Ellis; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family member and friends
Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Ray Collins; both husbands, Arthur Collins and Joe N. McKinney; her parents, Jim and Jennie Wilson; two half-brothers, Ivie E. and Dewey Wilson; four brothers, Kirby, Raymond, Lewis and Everett Wilson; and two sisters, Rosalee Wilson and Elsie Wilson McKinney.
