Billy Plumlee Sr.

SPRINGDALE — Billy Hugh Plumlee Sr., 80, of Springdale died April 17, 2005. He was born June 18, 1924, in Springdale to George K. and Sarah
Ellen Horn Plumlee. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW. He was a caretaker for Zion Cemetery for many years. He enjoyed gardening and quail hunting. He was preceded In death by his wife, Jimmie Louise Gilliland Plumlee, in 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Billy H. Plumlee Jr. and wife Belva of Elm Springs, Robert Plumlee and wife Patricia of Norman, Okla.; two daughters, Sandra Golden and husband John and Betty Logsdon and husband Tom, all of Springdale; two brothers, Robert Donald Plumlee of Tulsa, Okla., Carroll George Plumlee of Plano, Texas; one sister, Maxine Fowler of Maynard; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandclildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Johnny Sizemore officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be George Anderson Jr., Eric Cabeldue, John Fulfer, Lyndall Golden, Scott Golden, Kelley Plumlee and Duane Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion
Cemetery Association, c/o George Anderson, 486 Madison 8501, Hindsville, 72738.
