August 2, 1918 - August 16, 2010

Mr. J.L. Reynolds, age 82, formerly of Cotter, passed away Monday Aug. 16, 2010 in Orange Park, Florida having fought a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cora Mae Reynolds of Orange Park, Florida; 5 children: Carolyn Kilburn, Jerry Reynolds, Keyla Morgan, Kym Reynolds and Katrina Williams.; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Hyatt.

Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2010 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Cotter.

(Note: The obituary shows his birth date as August 2, 1918, but the age in the obituary is listed as 82. The gravestone has the birth date inscribed as August 2, 1928. The 1928 date appears to be correct. In the 1930 census of Greenwood Township, Baxter County, Arkansas, he was enumerated with parents, and his six year old sister, Tina. He was shown as being 1 year and 8 months of age. Then the Social Security Death Index for J. L. Reynolds shows a birth date of August 2, 1928.)
