Boyce Dean Reynolds of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away July 16, 2016, in Mountain Home, at the age of 76. He was born May 19, 1940, in Hanford, California, the son of Wilmer and Ruby Eiland Reynolds. He retired from a long career as a commercial painter. Dean lived in Arkansas since moving from California in 1999. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and during his life, enjoyed fishing, hunting, falconry, playing the fiddle, spending time with his adored pets, and painting with his friends at Hobby Lobby. With an outgoing personality and good sense of humor, Dean enjoyed making friends and caring for others in need.
Dean is survived by his two daughters, Lori (Stacy Kunishige) Reynolds of Fresno, CA, and Patricia Roper of Fresno, CA; sister, Cheryl (Joe) Butler of Neosho, MO; four grandchildren, Troy Smith, Bryan Smith, Jayme (Tom) Holt, and Michael Reynolds; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer Reynolds and Ruby Matto; and a brother, Dale Reynolds.
A Celebration of Life for Dean will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. His final resting place will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Scattering Gardens, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
