Dated 14 May 1948 - Mrs J. H. P. Reed, 60 born December 15, 1887 in Baxter County. She died Sunday. Survivors are her husband, five daughters, Mrs U. K. Tipton, Mrs James Treat, Mrs Waldo Treat, Mrs Robert Becker and Mrs Don Moore, a son Ira Reed, all of Mountain Home, her mother Mrs Mary Lowery of Bakersfield, California; two brothers, Jess and Arch Lowery, three sisters; Mrs Pearl Cooper, Mrs Ophelia Rogers and Miss Artie Lowery.
