HIRAM ERNEST ELAM
Hiram Ernest Elam, 84, Prairie Grove, died Nov. 30 in a Fayetteville rest home. Born May 26, 1893, in Hamilton County, Tex., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Elam, a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Greer Elam of the home; one son Ernest (Gube) Elam, Lincoln; three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Pierson and Mrs. Martha Smith, Prairie Grove, and Mrs. Alma Rogers, Lincoln; one brother, Jess Elam, Prairie Grove; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Newman, Barnhart, Tex.; and 19 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Luginbuel Funeral Home, Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Garrett Creek Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel.
