Frances Gabbard
Frances M. Gabbard, 81, of Fayetteville, died May 26 at her home.
She was born May 27, 1911, at Marietta, Ohio, to James Wallace Elijah McMahon and Mary Luetta Noland McMahon. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and attended Providence Baptist Church at Wedington. She married Emmett Charles Gabbard May 27, 1982.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Thomas and Curtis Eugene Boyd Sr., both of Springdale; William J. Boyd of Macon, Ga.; a daughter, Wilma Lea Garcia of Castroville, Calif.; a sister, Freda Mary Albertha Neavles of Tulsa, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Springdale, with the Rev. Ron Long officiating. Burial is to be in Fitzgerald Cemetery, Springdale. Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. Monday.
