PEA RIDGE — Peggy H. Charles, 77, of Pea Ridge died Jan. 25, 2012, at her home. She was born July 29, 1924, in Casper, Wyo., to Ellis Hayes and Hazel Irene Foster. She moved to Pea Ridge last August. She was a retired LPN of 30 years and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Assembly of God. She enjoyed painting, writing poetry and crocheting.
Survivors inchide her husband, Merle Charles of the home, whom she married July 28, 1946; two daughters, Regina Price of Pea Ridge and Loral Reeves of Temecula, Calif.; one sister, Erma Pate of Salem, Ore.; three grandchildren, Chari Wheeler of Pea Ridge, Yancy Price of Springdale and Charles Reeves; five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Rte with the Rev. Louis Threeton officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon to 5 p.m today at the funeral home.

PEA RIDGE — Merle Dean Everett Charles, 87, of Pea Ridge died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Rogers.
Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge, with service following at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
