John E. Carr age 58 of Searcy, Arkansas died Wednesday February 22, 2012 at his home. He was born July 19th 1953 in Dumas, Arkansas a son of the late Jessie Carr and Lucille Hunter Carr. He was a United States Army Veteran a life long Truck Driver and a member of the Church of God. Also preceding him in death was a daughter Rebecca Lucille Carr, a brother Joe Harley Carr, 3 sisters Carolyn Gardner, Sue Lawson and Doris Carr.
Survivors include 1 son Joe Carr, Youngsville, Penn.; and a
step-son Robert Lee Nicoletti, Youngsville, Penn. 2 brothers Travis Carr, El Dorado, AR. and Roy Carr, Calion AR. 2 sisters, Jerri Groves, Bradford, AR. and Effie Pearson, Monticello, AR. 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services were 1:30pm Saturday, February 25th at Frazer's Chapel with Michael Gardner officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jim Gardner, James Robert Gardner, John Gardner, Andrew Gardner, Shannon Groves and Dell Carr. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Al Pearson, Charlie Maxwell and Jerry Kozubski.
