Jess R. Campbell
Jess R. Campbell, 61, of Bentonville died Friday at Bates Memorial Hospital. He was horn Feb. 22, 1915 at Clarksville.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of the home; two sons; Roy Campbell of Bentonville and James Campbell of Youngsville, La.; two brothers, Leonard Campbell of Lancaster, Calif., and Lawrence Campbell of Fontana, Calif., one sister, Esther Phillips of Bentonville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bentonville Church of Christ with Walter Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home.

Gladys Campbell
Gladys Clanton Campbell, 78, of Bentonville, died Saturday, June 26, at a local nursing center.
She was born March 10, 1915, at Portland, Ore., to Otis Clanton and Laura Banks Clanton. She was an agent for the United States Department of Agriculture for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bentonville, and a lifetime resident of this area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Campbell; two sons, Roy R. Campbell and Jackie Campbell; a daughter, Nancy Campbell; and two brothers, Claude and Otis Clanton.
Survivors are a son, James Campbell of Centerton; a brother, Ellis Clanton of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Phyllis Douglas, Bernece Cooper and Joan Almond all of Bentonville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel in Bentonville with Walter Buchanan officiating. Burial is to be in Bentonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christian Children's Home, 100 West Harding Street, Morrilton, Ark. 72110.
