PRAIRIE GROVE — Edna Frances Rodgers, 83, of Prairie Grove died May 23, 2002, at Medi Homes Nursing Home in Prairie Grove. She was born May 21, 1919, in Cane Hill to Dr. John Lacy and Ozeila Jackson Bean. She learned nursing skill by the age of 13 and was credited with saving lives while her father was out on house calls. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William A. Rodgers, in 1999.
Survivors include two sons, William L. Rodgers of Virginia and Richard L. Rodgers of Lincoln; four grandchildren.
Memorial services may be scheduled at a Later date.
Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Public Library.
